The Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a very popular series.  They are rarely on the shelves in our classroom library or the school library.  Instead, they are in the hands of students who are eagerly reading them with a smile on their face.  I was on my way home from school the other day when I heard the NPR radio broadcaster asking for questions from kids to ask Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.  She was going to be interview him the next day.  I was so disappointed that I would not have a chance to submit questions from my students before the interview.  You can listen to a podcast of the interview by clicking on the link.  If your child likes to read these books, he/she might enjoy hearing the interview.  Interview
