About
A Little Bit About Me. . .
This is my 22nd year in the Hudsonville Public Schools, the fifth year teaching fourth grade after eighteen wonderful years teaching kindergarten!!. I love teaching at Georgetown School and fourth graders are the best!
I grew up in Grand Rapids and then went to Hope College. I earned my masters degree in reading instruction from Michigan State. My husband and I live in Holland where my husband is on the staff at Christ Memorial Church. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, cross country skiing, golfing, biking, and kayaking. We are also avid fans of Hope College basketball.
We love to spend time with our family,-three sons and a daughter (three married) and especially our three grandchildren- Levi, Julia, and Jabin. This summer we took Levi and Julia camping near their home on Whidbey Island in Washington. Here is a picture of my husband and I hiking on Mt. Rainier.
