A new way for me to visit Washington D.C. is by kayak.  While my husband and I were paddling the Potomac, several very large Army helicoptors flew over us.  We wondered if they were hunting for something secret!  It was so awesome to see the Washington monument and Lincoln Memorial from the water.

I am so excited with my new group of students.  They have impressed me with their great listening skills and cooperative ways.  Already they have received threes in every special class, so we are going for a record!!
