Mrs. Boersma Visits the Capital

A new way for me to visit Washington D.C. is by kayak.  While my husband and I were paddling the Potomac, several very large Army helicoptors flew over us.  We wondered if they were hunting for something secret!  It was so awesome to see the Washington monument and Lincoln Memorial from the water.
