I am encouraging my students to learn the location of all the fifty states. This is an optional activity, but recommended for fifth grade social studies. Students have until spring vacation to do this. They may take the quiz as many times as they wish for practice. Students will receive a certificate and a treat if they can match the state name with the correct location with 95% accuracy. Linnae Conkel has already succeeded and several other students are close!
